Zichen finally rises to his feet and nods to himself, satisfied with the work he’s done. He peers down at Henry, concern still at the edges of his expression. Whatever Henry got himself into left him in such a state. But he knows how this place can be.
Xingchen doesn't need thanks from those he is close to. He does it because he wants to without any desire for appreciation. But he allows the man to say his gratitude and stays quiet as Zichen asks if there is anything else that they can get for him. Xingchen will be happy to comply with whatever request he might have. And he is right next door if Henry decides on something later.
He raises a hand slowly up at Zichen, nodding his head once.
"I'm alright," he says with some gratitude seeping into his voice. "Again, er, thanks. I'll just be taking a nap then."
Not that he'll stay any longer than that, but at least he'll get some rest. Some time, somewhere down the line, he'll tuck away this I.O.U. for a day he can repay the favor.
