[There's a small, content sigh from her nose as Henry gently grasps her chin. Briefly, her eyes close as she savors the fleeting moment – it was something she'd have to fondly think back on later, whenever she'd inevitably wonder if she was capable of experiencing some kind of "normalcy" ever again.
While she's not as quick to rise to her feet, her expression is momentarily dumbfounded as she watches him say he's going to call her... when it seemed like he was making some kind of texting gesture? Ducking her head a little, her eyes narrow from amusement, genuinely giggling a little at the misplaced signal. Even if it was just a small mistake, it's something else that might cross her mind later, at random times, drawing a smile in response.
At the very least, she's not far behind him as she follows him to the door.]
Well, until then, I'll wait for your– [Her smile widens to something impish as she cheekily mimics the texting motion Henry just made, speaking along with it.] –"call".
[ Like LB, Henry will definitely recall some moments here fondly. He'd consider it an indulgence, of course, since he's more or less wondering if he deserves normalcy at all.
He turns just in time to avoid her amused stare, the giggling behind him giving him slight pause as he brings a hand up to the back of his neck. He rubs it sheepishly, exiting, noting that she is on his heels as well. Hand still at his neck, he reaches the door then turns when she speaks up, the look on his face pretty much matching what one would expect of a person caught being silly.
As she mimics the little hand motions, he stifles a laugh in his throat and drops his hand with a grin. ]
Right, have a field day with that one, then. [ Turning the knob, he leaves the door ajar as he pulls his jacket on, bringing the hood over his head. ] Bye.
[It was something LB also felt she didn't deserve and honestly? She'd probably never be fully content if she could go back to a completely normal life, but sometimes there was that desire for contentment that she couldn't distance herself from. Perhaps "indulgence" was a good term for it.
Her expression cools to a milder smile as Henry turns to the door, making sure to note to only bring it up every now and then – too much would be tacky.] I will, haha. Don't you worry about that much.
[And with that, she stands by, waiting for him to leave to properly shut the door. Even if she did intend to watch him until he was out of her sight.]
